Francine Harris has always been a devoted New Yorker, but never more so than during the pandemic when her beloved Greenwich House Pottery was closed and she began wandering the streets taking photos. Images of empty urban spaces were slowly replaced by pictures of the people and their city, showing the innovative, often delightful, ways they coped.
In earlier lives Francine Harris has made precious metal Sculpture-to-Wear on commission, farmed in the French countryside, and renovated a SoHo loft which now holds a sea reef like collection of her ceramic pieces.
As always, the conversation and conviviality will continue over dinner after the program. We hope you'll join us!
